Was macht man denn mit dem Auto… wir haben immer gedacht, dass wir unser bestehenden Auto einfach mitnehmen. Aber ein Kollege brachte mich auf die Idee, dass das vermutlich kompletter Blödsinn ist. Nicht nur, dass Autos in den USA wesentlich günstiger sind – nein, es kähmen ja auch jede Menge Kosten für Shipping und umrüstung auf uns zu.
Vermutlich macht es mehr Sinn, unser Auto hier zu verkaufen und dann dort das gleiche (oder ähnlich) wieder als Gebrauchtwagen zu kaufen. Damit würden wir wahrscheinlich sogar noch etwas Gewinn machen.
And I guess your colleague is right. Sell the beamer, cash in and go for something new over there in the US…
Well not all cars are cheaper in the US, certainly not a Beamer…we will carefully have to check if – at all – any changes are required to the car. If not, it could be transportet with the rest of our stuff in a container that should save transport costs as the container will not be filled up. Otherwise – nice idea to sell it and get a Mustang 🙂
